Ultrasorbs Extra Strength Drypad and Drawpad is placed underneath a patient who will be stationary for prolonged periods of time. It's ideal to use in the operating room, emergency room and in labor and delivery. The Ultrasorbs Disposable Drypads, manufactured by Medline, have an absorbent polymer material to give an ultra absorbency layer to manage moisture and protect the patient's skin. This eliminates the need of adding additional sheets which keeps costs down. It's also tear resistant with Medline's LiftSupport backsheet technology. Should the patient need to be repositioned or lifted to be transferred, the low profile pad will hold up to patients up to 375 pounds. The drawpad is also air permeable to keep patient's skin comfortable and not build up heat. Vitality Medical also offers Ultrasorbs AP Underpads.
Medline also manufactures the Quilted Basic, Quilted Fluff, Light Absorbency, and Standard Protection Plus underpads.
