Medline Ultrasorb AP Underpads help reduce moisture-associated skin damage such as pressure ulcers. These disposable pads have an absorbent core that locks the moisture and odors away from the skin and is dry to the touch within minutes. This core also stays flat when wet instead of bunching up or disintegrating. This keeps the patient comfortable and not needing to constantly adjust the pad.
The disposable Medline Ultrasorb pads are also air permeable. Air flowing through the pad further aids in maintaining dry skin. Air permeability also makes the Ultrasorbs AP Underpads ideal for low air-loss mattresses to maximize air circulation. The Medline Ultrasorbs AP Disposable Underpads protects the patient and bed from leaks. It utilizes fold-over edges and an AquaShield film to aid the absorbent core in trapping moisture. Not only do these make the patient more comfortable, but they also allow the pads to manage multiple voids. This in turn reduces frequency of changing the pad as well as the bedding.
Medline also manufactures the Quilted Fluff, Light Absorbency, and Protection Plus underpads.
