How Do You Use Thick-It?

Instructions

1. Pour 4 ounces of water or other liquid liquid into a cup.
2. Fill the plastic measuring spoon and level off the powder in the spoon.
3. Add the powder to the liquid, slowly. Use a fork or a whisk to stir the liquid as the powder is added.
4. Stir vigorously until the powder has completely dissolved.
5. Let juice or water solutions sit for 60 seconds or longer. If the solution is instead milk or supplement-based, let it sit for five to 10 minutes.
6. Give the solution a final stir. The food or drink is now ready. Consume within a half an hour.
7. Wash, sanitize, and dry the measuring spoon between uses. Seal the lid back on the canister tightly.

Warning: Do not use for infants under the age of 2. Only use for children under the age of 12 under a doctor's instruction.

This powder does not bind fluids and 98% of the mixed solution is absorbed. For these reasons, this product doesn't cause dehydration.

Is Thick-It safe to drink?

This product is safe for most users. However, this item should never be given to infants under 2 years old. If a child is under 12 this product should only be used under the permission and supervision of a doctor. Users with PKU can likely use this item, but should also do so only after consulting a physician.
