To Use
The padded mitt restraints fit both left and right hands, with the palm of the hand facing the padding. The back of the hand faces the mesh. The included safety straps go around the patient’s wrist in the event staff deems restraint necessary.

When is a Mitten Restraint Used?
Nursing homes and care facilities turn to hand restraints to protect patients who remove their bandages and dressings, pick and scratch at wounds, or grab and pull-out feeding tubes, catheters or nasogastric tubes.
