Dr. Erin Zinkhan MD, BSBE

Dr. Erin Zinkhan has been using her extensive knowledge in the Pediatrician and Neonatologist medical field to provide medical assistance to patients since 2012. Dr. Zinkhan received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Rice University and her Medical Doctorate at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She is a member of the American Writers Association (AMWA), which helps her to share her expertise through writing scientific manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and oral presentations. Her extensive medical background also allows her to provide high-quality writing, editing, and consulting services.

She currently cares for premature and sick newborns in Salt Lake City, Utah and has a passion for fetal intrauterine growth (IUGR), which is the condition that affects the fetus and slows growth within the womb. Dr. Zinkhan's research concentrates on the long-term health problems associated with insufficient nutrition during pregnancy. Her ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life of infants born with IUGR.

Her other clinical interests include nutrition during extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), lipid metabolism, and nutrition in sick and premature neonates. Outside of her clinical care, Dr. Zinkhan enjoys gardening, hiking in the beautiful Utah mountains, and spending time with her family.
