What Is 2-Phase Expression Technology?

This innovative expression technology creates short cycles to stimulate breastmilk let-down to mimic a baby's natural sucking rhythm. After two minutes, the Medela Symphony Double Electric Breast Pump automatically changes to the expression stage with pause phases. If the stimulation phase isn't needed, the button to the right of the dial will bypass this step and go directly to the expression phase.
