The contoured design fits both men and women with palm widths between 3.5 and 4.25 inches at the metacarpophalangeal (MP) joints. It is sized to fit most users, with excess strap material that can be trimmed as needed. The splint is easy to clean by hand washing with cold water and mild soap. Each splint is individually packaged for retail use and is not made with natural rubber latex.

It is suitable for treating thumb sprains or strains, hyperextension, arthritis of the first carpal metacarpal (basal joint arthritis), thumb tendonitis, Gamekeeper's/Skier's Thumb, and De Quervain's Syndrome. The splint fastens with a wide, single-pull, elastic contact closure and is made from perforated neoprene for breathability and comfort. It includes a malleable aluminum stay to help position the thumb correctly and features dorsal, radial, and palmar stay pockets for maximum stabilization. Each pocket contains a malleable aluminum stay and a flexible spiral stay that can be removed or shaped for a custom fit. The universal design fits both the right and left thumb, allowing the user to switch sides as needed. It is sized to fit most users, with excess strap material that can be trimmed as needed. The splint is hand washable with warm water and mild soap and is individually packaged for retail use. It is not made with natural rubber latex. Please note that neoprene supports should not be worn by individuals with known susceptibility to dermatitis or allergies to neoprene by-products.
