Who Uses This Product? Obstetricians and midwives who provide prenatal screenings and labor monitoring.
Why Give It a Try? Huntleigh uses the latest technology to provide high-quality sound to hear the fetal heart rate. The user interface toggles between two modes to stay on top of heart rate or a trace graph to monitor fetal movement.
Sonicaid Digital SR2/SR3 Doppler Overview
Hearing the fetal heartbeat during each prenatal visit is something every mother looks forward to. The Huntleigh Sonicaid SR2 Doppler and Huntleigh Sonicaid SR3 Doppler offers outstanding performance for capturing the fetal heartbeat (FHR) for all stages of pregnancy from as early as 8 weeks until labor. This new generation of fetal dopplers uses the latest digital algorithms to capture FHR with doppler sound recording capacity with playback and SD storage capability. These Sonicaid high-sensitivity digital dopplers produce high-quality sound for general-purpose screening with a highly visible screen to make low-risk labor screening easier. It includes a labor auscultation timer to prompt exams every 15 minutes and the waterproof probe accommodates normal use and waterbirth monitoring.
Multifunctional Display

The high-resolution screen toggles easily between the two modes to obtain the Rate display with "BIG" numbers as well as the Trace display with graph.
BIG Numbers Mode: creates optimal visibility with large numbers in high-contrast color. This aids in viewing the FHR at arm's length.
Trace Mode: offers high-definition monitoring by graphing FHR and fetal movement markers with date and time stamping.
Sonicaid SR2 Doppler vs. Sonicaid SR3 Doppler
These Sonicaid models come with a fixed MegaHertZ for measuring the sound. The Huntleigh SR2 Doppler has a fixed 2MHz probe frequency that's used as a general-purpose probe for all stages of pregnancy. The Huntleigh SR3 Fetal Doppler is 3MHz probe frequency, which can also be used at all stages but it is the primary probe of choice for screening the fetal heart during early gestation.
