Who Uses This Product? Men who use condom-style catheters to manage urinary incontinence.
Why They Love It: The aloe in the adhesive keeps the skin protected while in use. The condom catheter is also less invasive than indwelling catheters.

Clear Advantage Catheter Overview
Coloplast Clear Advantage Silicone Self-Adhering Male External Catheter is a condom catheter that adheres to the skin to stay secure. It is easy to apply: simply place on the tip of the penis, roll it over the penis, and squeeze to make sure the adhesive sticks. The adhesive keeps it in place while aloe helps to minimize chafing and irritation. The reservoir bulb and anti-kink nozzle prevent urine from leaking out. The condom catheter has maximum wear time until it needs to be removed.

Condom Catheters vs. Indwelling Catheters
Condom catheters like the Clear Advantage Condom Catheter are flexible, sheath-like catheters that slide over the penis like a condom, making them easy to apply and remove. Indwelling catheters, such as Foley catheters, can be much more invasive and require insertion into the urethra. Because condom catheters are less invasive, some evidence suggests that they may reduce the risk of infection and UTIs.1

Comfortable and Painless
Some styles of catheter can cause discomfort for the user. With a condom catheter, the external application eliminates pain from having the catheter inserted directly into the urethra. The Clear Advantage External Catheters have soothing aloe to reduce chafing and irritation, and the anti-kink nozzle prevents splashback.
