How Do They Work?
This bone stimulator uses a magnetic field meant to stimulate bone growth. The magnetic field cannot be felt, so it's comfortable to use and not painful. In addition to stimulating healing in a noninvasive manner, a clinical study showed that the stimulator is more cost-effective than immediate surgical intervention while reducing extended bouts of patient pain.
Easy User-Driven Treatment
The DJO OL1000 Noninvasive Stimulator is placed on the treatment area, strapped on, and then by using the control, applies the magnetic field that helps with healing nonunion fractures, bones that won't heal. The controller itself is easy to usesimply hold down the power button until it beeps, and it will run itself and then automatically shut down when the 30 minutes are up.
Session Records Help Track Progress
The CMF from DJO has the unique feature of tracking and recording the sessions that are done for the user's personal benefit. After the stimulator turns on it, it displays two numbers: the numbers of completed sessions, and the number of times used since the first session.
