McKesson Calcium Alginate Wound Dressing with Silver is designed to manage moderate to highly exuding wounds with a silver alginate composition. The dressing absorbs exudate and creates a gel-like barrier that maintains a moist environment for optimal wound healing. This gel-like surface provides moisture and ensures the secondary dressing doesn't adhere to the wound, promoting a painless and easy removal. McKesson Calcium Alginate Dressing is a nonocclusive wound care product that is available in square, rectangular, or rope styles that can all be cut to shape for the perfect fit. McKesson Calcium Alginate with Antimicrobial Silver may be left in place for up to seven days and can be held in place with secondary dressings like Molnlycke's Alldress Absorbent Film Dressing.

Square/Rectangle Dressings are great choices for optimal coverage. The square option is available in 2 x 2 inches or 4.25 x 4.25 inches and has 5% or 1.4% silver depending on the selection. The rectangular option is available in 4 x 8 inches with 5% or 1.4% silver.

Rope Dressings are a great choice for a wide range of moderate- to heavy-exudate wounds due to its cut-to-fit design. The rope option is available in 3/4 by 12 inches and can be purchased with 5% or 1.4% silver.
