Adimals 2150 Pulse Oximeter Overview

The Adimals 2150 uses optical plethysmography and spectrophotometry to calculate arterial oxygen saturation levels. This allows for quick results. Adimals 2150 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter has been engineered to provide years of dependable service. The 2150 utilizes two different wavelengths of light that are focused through the fingernail to get a reading. The way this oximeter gets results is by utilizing infrared signals that are detected by photoelectric sensors, which then are processed through a microprocessor and interpreted into numerical readings. Other Pulse Oximeters include OxyWatch C20 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter and ChoiceMMEd OxyWatch C29.

American Diagnostic provides the 2150 Oximeter with several key accessories. Conveniently, this oximeter comes with one lanyard, two AAA batteries, a user manual, a safety bumper, and one travel case.

1. Put the two AAA batteries into the device.
2. Clean the tip of the finger and the inside of the oximeter using 70% isopropyl alcohol.
3. Place the oximeter onto the index finger.
4. Press the power button on top of the scanner, to turn on the scanner.
5. As the oximeter is making its calculation, be sure the patient is not moving.
6. Once the reading shows on the screen, remove the finger and the device should power off after 10 seconds.
