Description
This Heel Float by Posey effectively treats and prevent pressure ulcers. It is also recommended to prevent skin breakdown, friction burns, and to prevent foot drop.
Extra durable double straps criss-cross on this heel protector to help with foot drop functionality. Nylon fabric on the outside of the boot and an open cutout in the heel work together to provide adequate ventilation to the foot and leg. These features also help to reduce excess heat and keep feet cool.
This Pressure Ulcer Treatment boot benefits from a patented inner liner material called Ortho-Wick™ that helps moisture migrate away from the limb. The boot is also completely machine washable.
To prevent complications related to lateral rotations of the foot, use the optional boot stabilizer wedge to isolate foot movement.
